The Divine Detective Agency
|
Nick is an old school gumshoe who breathed his last breath in 1949. He runs a detective agency in heaven that caters to murder victims who can't remember how they died. Nick’s a dogged investigator who likes the mini-skirted braless babes of the swinging sixties, and he takes his whiskey straight. He has a snarky Girl Friday named Priscilla McCoy, and a room full of “suits” he uses when he has to travel to Earth. These suits resemble famous people such as Paul Newman, and they allow Nick to infiltrate the world of the living. Nick uses language suitable to the film noir era that he lived in while he was alive and living in Hoboken, New Jersey. The Body in the Bungalow is part of the Divine Detective Agency series. No cliffhangers - just good, short mysteries. |
